Job summary

First Farmers Bank & Trust is seeking a Retail Training Specialist in Kokomo, IN to design and deliver comprehensive training programs for tellers and personal bankers. You will onboard new hires, coach experienced team members on procedures, products, and compliance, and ensure exceptional customer experiences across our branch network.

Qualifications

• Must have prior banking experience with cash handling.
• Strong knowledge of banking operations, policy and procedure, banking products & services, retail applications, and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality in daily operations and interactions with staff and customers.

Responsibilities

• Assist with development and execution of training programs for new and existing employees.
• Conduct training sessions on various banking products, services and sales, and compliance regulations.
• Provide support to retail branch staff.
• Create training materials, including manuals, and visual aids.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make necessary adjustments.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to ensure training content is current and relevant.
• Provide one‑on‑one coaching and support to employees as needed.
• Collaborate with department heads to identify and address specific training needs.
