Job summary

First Farmers Bank & Trust in Kokomo, IN seeks a Retail Training Specialist to design and deliver onboarding and ongoing training for branch personnel. You’ll lead teller and personal banker training, ensure regulatory awareness, and drive exceptional customer experiences across our branch network.

You will collaborate with leaders to identify needs, create engaging materials, and coach staff one‑on‑one or in classroom settings, strengthening skills and careers while supporting community banking

Qualifications

• Must have prior banking experience with cash handling.
• Strong knowledge of banking operations, policy and procedure, products and services, and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality in daily operations and interactions.

Responsibilities

• Assist with development and execution of comprehensive training programs for new and existing employees.
• Conduct training sessions on banking products, services, sales and compliance regulations.
• Provide one‑on‑one coaching and support to employees as needed.
• Collaborate with department heads to identify training needs and address them.
• Create training materials, including manuals and visual aids.
