Job summary

First Financial Bank is seeking a Training Specialist to coordinate, deliver, and evaluate training programs for retail banking teams. You will facilitate classroom and one-on-one sessions, and help develop SMEs across learning areas to strengthen knowledge and performance.

The role emphasizes collaboration, process improvement, and adherence to banking guidelines while supporting company goals and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

1-3 years’ experience in retail banking or training/facilitator field.
Ability to facilitate and present in group settings.
Strong computer skills to include MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Strong project management skills.
Strong understanding of Adult Learning.
Strong relationship building and interpersonal skills.
Strong verbal/written skills.
Time management.
Ability to quickly master new content for delivery.
Ability to learn and utilize new software at a high level.

Responsibilities

Assist with the preparation and facilitation of associate learning courses in the classroom, certification hubs, and individually as needed.
Work to develop subject matter expertise (SME) in one or more learning area(s).
Assist other specialists with class logistics: start time, end time, breaks, lunch, additional pre- and post-class hours.
Act as support to other team members and retail associates.
Ability to coach and provide feedback to associates regarding sales, service, and operational soundness.
Collaborate with team members to ensure consistency of content and quality of learning.
