Job summary

Woodforest National Bank in Locust, NC is seeking a Banker to serve as a frontline ambassador, delivering the Woodforest Experience and growing retail customer relationships through exceptional service and proactive product recommendations.

You will handle teller duties, open deposit accounts and consumer loans, and represent the branch in local community marketing efforts while upholding the bank's core values of Ownership, Service, Community and Integrity.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant retail sales and/or customer service experience.
• In-store retail banking experience preferred but not required.
• Willingness to accept coaching and feedback.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work flexible or extended hours based on retail branch needs.

Responsibilities

• Perform branch servicing duties including teller transactions, cash handling, balancing, ordering cash, vault activities, audits, ATM servicing.
• Open and maintain deposit accounts and consumer loan products with accuracy and attention to compliance standards.
• Follow branch security procedures and remain vigilant in protecting the bank, customers, and team members.
• Maintain flexibility to support additional retail branch duties and business needs as assigned.
