Job summary

Woodforest National Bank is seeking a Banker to grow retail customer relationships through exceptional service and proactive marketing of banking products. You will deliver the Woodforest Experience in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment.

The role focuses on ownership, service, community involvement, and integrity, with opportunities to support branch goals, process transactions accurately, and promote digital banking solutions.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant retail sales and/or customer service experience.
• Prior in-store retail banking experience preferred but not required.
• Demonstrated willingness to accept coaching and feedback.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work flexible or extended hours based on retail branch needs.

Responsibilities

• Take personal responsibility for delivering strong retail performance by identifying customer needs and recommending appropriate banking solutions.
• Act with accountability in achieving individual sales goals through proactive conversations, referrals, and marketing outreach.
• Demonstrate ownership in resolving customer inquiries at the first point of contact, utilizing internal partners as needed.
• Maintain operational excellence through accurate transaction processing, account opening, and adherence to policies.
