Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or related knowledge/skills with 1 year of management or 3 years of supervisory experience in a branch banking environment.
• At least 4 years of business development experience in a retail banking environment, including ability to meet business development goals and monitor staff.
• Proficient with digital banking products.
• Excellent customer service, organizational, verbal and written communication skills, and problem-solving abilities; self-starter who can work independently.
• Knowledge of retail banking compliance; experience with preparing/maintaining budgets.
• Able to register as a licensed Mortgage Loan Originator as required under the S.A.F.E. Act.

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates and directs daily Banking Center activities; ensures courteous service and staffing effectiveness.
• Develops Banking Center business development strategy and promotional efforts to meet production goals.
• Sell/originate mortgage/HELOCs and consumer loans within approved limits and assist applicants.
• Make business development calls on current and prospective small business and retail customers.
• Manage the business development plan and track progress; mentor staff for maximum performance.
• Maintain knowledge of BSA/AML/CIP/OFAC requirements and ensure staff training and compliance.
• Prepare and maintain Banking Center budget and support policy development.
