Job summary

East Cambridge Savings Bank’s Retail Division is actively recruiting for an Assistant Service Manager in Woburn, MA. Under the Senior Vice President–Retail Officer, you will supervise Banking Center staff and help ensure friendly, efficient service while meeting production goals.

Your responsibilities include developing a banking center sales plan, coaching staff, and managing mortgage/HELOC and consumer loan activity while maintaining compliance with BSA/AML/CIP/OFAC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with supervisory experience in a branch banking environment.
• At least 3 years of progressive retail banking experience including sales and meeting sales goals.
• Proficient with digital banking products.
• Excellent customer service, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to register as a licensed Mortgage Loan Originator under the S.A.F.E. Act.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily activities of Banking Center and ensure courteous service.
• Meet production goals; develop and execute sales plan; manage sales leads.
• Train and coach staff; cross-training; manage cross-referral program.
• Sell and originate mortgage/HELOCs and consumer loans; close loans.
• Maintain knowledge of products; handle customer inquiries and problems.
• Ensure BSA/AML/CIP/OFAC compliance and prepare for audits.
• Assist with budgeting and expense control; maintain equipment and security.
