Job summary

BMO’s Gunnison branch seeks an experienced retail banking leader to guide sales and service, advise customers on financial products, and drive branch growth. You will foster cross-functional teamwork, build referral networks, and ensure regulatory compliance in daily operations.

The role focuses on developing the branch plan, coaching staff, and delivering high-quality customer experiences while meeting profitability goals and strategic objectives.

Qualifications

• Typically between 4-6 years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in related field of study or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Previous supervisory or management experience - preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of retail banking products and services.
• Working knowledge of branch regulations, audit standards, and related policies.

Responsibilities

• Advise customers on products and strategies to meet financial objectives.
• Guides, directs, and coaches employees to deliver exceptional service to BMO customers.
• Develops and executes a branch business plan to maximize growth and wallet share.
• Develops a personal referral network and conducts sales calls to acquire new relationships.
• Ensures compliance with legal and regulatory requirements and bank policies.
