Job summary

FNBC Bank & Trust in West Chicago, IL is seeking a teller to support branch operations and deliver high-touch customer service to our community.

You will process new accounts, handle deposits and withdrawals, balance cash drawers, assist customers with account choices, and refer complex needs to colleagues while upholding bank policies.

Starting hourly pay is $24–$27 with full benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or 1-2 years related experience.
• Spanish language ability is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Process new account transactions.
• Assist customers in their selection of various accounts and financial services.
• Open, maintain and close accounts of all types.
• Promote business for the bank by maintaining good customer relations and referring customers to appropriate staff for new services.
• Receive and process checking and savings account transactions.
• Balance cashier’s drawer with minimal variances and assist in reconciling discrepancies.
• Issue cashier’s checks and money orders.
• Process the redemption of bonds.
• Open night deposit vault and log contents, distribute to proper individuals and process deposits using dual control.
• Process incoming mail transactions and answer questions on services.
