Republic Bank of Chicago is hiring an Associate Banker I in Berwyn, IL. This full-time role focuses on delivering superior customer service at the teller window, while actively cross-selling banking products and establishing new account relationships.

The Associate Banker I will handle account transactions, referrals, and contribute to a positive client experience by leveraging teller and banker platform skills. Prior retail banking experience is preferred; HS diploma required.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily branch tasks: account transactions, maintenance, correspondence, balancing, cash items, and cash shipments.
• Cross-sell bank products; open/close accounts; service customers; process transfers and check orders.
• Maintain accurate balancing records and resolve outages.
• Meet or exceed sales goals through cross-selling of products and services.
• Deliver excellent customer service and escalate issues to management when needed.
• Follow policies, procedures, regulations, and confidentiality requirements.
• Communicate openly with branch team; support promotional events and initiatives.
• Represent the bank professionally in the community and maintain organized work environment.
