Job summary

J.Crew seeks an Associate Manager to join our leadership team and drive profitability through genuine connections with customers and brand loyalty. You will coach and develop team members, own key areas of the business, and step into multiple roles to maintain excellence across store operations.

You will collaborate with the Store Director, manage divisions, recruit and train staff, and ensure a high standard of service while staying adaptable to the evolving retail environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of full-time retail management experience
• Strong leadership and people-skills to coach a team
• Demonstrated ability to exceed store goals and customer service standards

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Store Director as a co-owner of the business
• Manage division of responsibility (Visual Merchandising, Operations, HR, Service & Selling)
• Oversee store operations, systems, and technology
• Assist with recruiting, training and development
• Foster a collaborative working environment for associates
• Ensure the team meets/exceeds goals and delivers best-in-class service
• Create community engagement initiatives and events
• Step into various sales floor roles when needed
