Madewell is seeking an Associate Manager to join its leadership team in the United States. You will drive profitability by building authentic customer connections, brand loyalty, and community engagement while coaching teammates for peak performance.

You will oversee a core area (Merchandising, Operations, HR, Service & Selling) and support recruiting and development, partnering with the Store Director to create a collaborative environment and consistently exceed goals with a top-tier service

Qualifications

• 3+ years of full-time retail management experience.
• Passion for brand, customers, and teams.
• Flexibility with scheduling including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Stay up to date with fashion trends and industry developments.
• Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Store Director to maximize profitability and brand connection.
• Own division of responsibility (Visual Merchandising, Operations, HR, Service & Selling).
• Manage store operations, systems, and technology with accountability.
• Support Store Director with recruiting, training and development.
• Partner with leadership to foster a collaborative working environment.
• Ensure the team exceeds goals and delivers best-in-class customer service.
• Innovate to engage the community and build loyalty through events.
• Step into various sales floor roles when needed.
