Job summary

Madewell is seeking an Assistant Manager to join our store leadership, driving profitability through genuine client connections, brand loyalty, and community engagement. You will coach the sales team, provide feedback, and partner with the leadership team to implement strategies for strong store performance.

You will own aspects of Visual Merchandising, Operations, HR, and Service & Selling, oversee store systems, participate in recruiting and training, and help create a collaborative,

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of retail management experience.
• Passion for supporting brand, customers and teams.
• Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills.
• Scheduling flexibility including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to bend, reach, and lift at least 40 pounds (18 kg).

Responsibilities

• Support Store Director to impact business results through brand connections and profitability.
