Michaels is hiring for a store associate in Powell, OH. The role involves helping customers, guiding them to products, and ensuring a fast, friendly checkout experience.

You will participate in truck unloading, stocking, and maintaining in‑stock conditions while promoting rewards programs and omnichannel services. The position requires retail or customer service experience, ability to stand and move throughout the store, and adherence to SOPs.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Able to stand and move around the store for extended periods.

Responsabilités

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards
• Engage customers on the benefits of the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS)
• Participate in the truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes
• Responsible for merchandise recovery and maintenance including returns and general store recovery
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned
• Support shrink and safety programs
• Adhere to SOPs and company policies; model company values in interactions
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production
