Job summary

Michaels is seeking team members for a Columbus, OH store to deliver friendly customer service, help shoppers find items, and ensure a fast checkout experience. You will assist with truck unloading, stocking, and merchandising, while supporting omni-channel processes like BOPIS and SFS.

A willingness to stand for long periods and work nights/weekends is expected. Ideal candidates have retail or customer service experience and can educate customers about rewards programs and private label cards.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to remain standing for long periods.
• Frequent bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching.

Responsibilities

• Help customers locate products and provide solutions.
• Provide fast and friendly checkout with cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards enrollments.
• Educate customers on Voice of Customer (VOC) survey.
• Assist with Omni channel processes (BOPIS and SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking and planogram processes.
• Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance for in-stock store.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
• Adhere to SOPs and company policies.
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
• Other duties as assigned.
