Job summary

The Salvation Army USA Western Territory's Orange Store is seeking a friendly Retail Team member to provide a positive shopping and donor experience. You will greet customers, manage donations, stock shelves, operate the POS, and help keep the store and donation area clean and organized.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Must be able to accurately handle POS/Cash Register operations and cash transactions.
• Must pass background check, including Criminal History and Sex Offender Registry.
• Ability to communicate effectively with management, fellow employees, customers, and donors.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and donors, providing prompt, courteous assistance.
• Stock priced items for sale and merchandize on the sales floor.
• Maintain store and donation area; keep it clean, neat, and organized; perform cleaning duties as directed.
• Follow POS/Cash Register Policies in line with TSA procedures.
• Maintain safety and compliance standards.
• Attend required Monthly Store Meetings.
• Receive, unload, and stock incoming inventory items accurately and efficiently.
• Provide quality assurance by inspecting products for defects and damages.
• Assist donors with removal of all donated items and provide receipts.
• Sort donated material into proper containers and stack as instructed by Management.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Management.
