Job summary

The Salvation Army USA Western Territory is seeking staff for the Anaheim Katella Store Retail Team to support the Adult Rehabilitation Program. Join a team dedicated to a positive shopping and donor experience, customer service, problem-solving, and teamwork.

This part-time role pays $16.90 per hour. Qualifications include a high school diploma, ability to handle POS transactions, and strong communication and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Must be able to accurately handle POS/Cash Register operations and cash transactions.
• Must pass background check, including Criminal History and Sex Offender Registry.
• Ability to communicate effectively with management, fellow employees, customers, and donors.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and donors with courteous assistance.
• Stock items and merchandise on the sales floor.
• Maintain the store and donation area, ensuring cleanliness and organization.
• Follow POS/Cash Register policies in TSA guidelines.
• Maintain safety and compliance standards.
• Attend Monthly Store Meetings.
• Receive, unload, and stock incoming inventory accurately.
• Provide quality assurance by inspecting products for defects and damages.
• Assist donors with removal of donated items and provide receipts.
• Sort donated material into proper containers and stack as directed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Management.
