Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. is seeking a friendly Store Associate for the Columbus-Powell, OH area. You will help customers find products, provide solutions, and ensure a fast, courteous checkout experience.

You’ll participate in truck unloading, stocking, planograms, and store recovery to keep the shop well merchandised and in stock. Preferred candidates have retail or customer service experience, and can engage customers with rewards programs while supporting omni-channel processes.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred
• Engage customers on rewards programs and credit card enrollments
• Assist with omni-channel processes including BOPIS and SFS
• Adhere to SOPs and company policies

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions
• Provide fast and friendly checkout experience; cash handling to standards
• Engage customers on rewards programs and Private Label Credit Cards
• Assist with Omni channel processes (BOPIS, SFS)
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram processes
• Maintain in-stock store with merchandise recovery and returns
• Support shrink and safety programs
• Be a team role model and uphold company values
