Job summary

Michaels in Columbus/Hilliard, OH is seeking a friendly Store Associate to help customers find products, answer questions, and provide a fast, courteous checkout experience. You'll engage shoppers about the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and support omnichannel services like Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store.

You’ll assist with truck unloading, stocking, planograms, and store recovery to keep the floor well merchandised.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Able to handle cash transactions accurately.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on rewards programs and enrollments.
• Educate customers on VOC survey.
• Assist with Omni channel processes (BOPIS, SFS).
• Participate in truck unloading, stocking and planogram processes.
• Maintain store recovery and in-stock conditions.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
• Operate SOPs and company policies.
• Promote a positive image and teamwork.
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
