Michaels in Columbus, OH is hiring for a Store Associate to deliver friendly customer service, help shoppers, and ensure a fast checkout experience. You will handle cash, enroll customers in rewards/credit programs, and assist with BOPIS and SFS processes. The role includes unloading trucks, stocking, and maintaining in-stock and well-merchandised shelves.

Applicants must be at least 16 years old. The base pay range is $11.00-$13.00 per hour, with potential overtime per state/local laws.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on rewards and credit programs and enroll them.
• Educate customers on Voice of Customer (VOC) survey.
• Assist with Omni channel processes including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POG) processes.
• Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance; manage returns and go-backs.
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
• Adhere to SOPs and company policies; project a positive image.
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
