Job summary

Ross Stores is seeking a Retail Associate to deliver a positive shopping experience with friendly service and strong brand presentation. You will greet customers, assist with merchandise, and perform store tasks to maintain a clean, organized selling floor.

As a team member, you will follow safety procedures, support loss prevention, and uphold Ross standards while contributing to a welcoming, efficient store environment.

Qualifications

• Effective communication with Customers, Associates and Store Leadership in a friendly, respectful, cooperative and pleasant manner.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations commonly used in retail environments.

Responsibilities

• Safety is the number one priority; follow safe behaviors in all tasks.
• Maintain a safe, clutter-free sales floor and ensure clear egress to exits.
• Greet Customers with eye contact, a smile, and a friendly hello at every interaction.
• Assist Customers at the register, help with merchandise, and answer questions courteously.
• Provide prompt responses to Customer inquiries and involve Store Leadership when needed.
• Represent and support the Ross brand in all interactions.
