Job summary

Vail Resorts is hiring for a world-class mountain shop role. As a Retail Associate, you will help guests with gear and services for the ultimate outdoor experience and will be trained in all aspects of selling the latest outdoor gear.

Starting wage is $20/hr, with Winter Seasonal 2026/2027 employment type and both full-time and part-time hours available. Flex scheduling, safety standards, and a commitment to customer service are required.

Qualifications

• Flexible schedule including nights, holidays and weekends.
• Commitment to exceptional Customer Service.
• Ability to stand and move in an active, team-oriented environment.
• Must be able to communicate fluently in English.

A Retail Associate is a flexible employee who often works across multiple departments and in various roles which could include one of the following:

• Resort Activities
• Retail Rental operations
• Food and Beverage Support
• Ticket sales or scanning
• Lift Operations
• Base Area Operations

The expected pay range is $20/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
