Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to join our team, helping with store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with day-to-day store activities, ensure a clean, organized sales floor and stockroom, and support the Store Manager in training and supervising associates.

Qualified candidates will have strong communication skills, the ability to manage and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store preferred.
• Able to lift up to 55 lbs. and perform physical duties as needed.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and written skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process directives and maintain store compliance and records.
