Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service and team development. You will assist with daily store functions, guide associates, and maintain store standards to ensure a positive shopping experience.

The role emphasizes strong communication, leadership, and the ability to manage inventory, safety, and store profitability in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred with ability to read and explain directives.
• Experience in retail, grocery, or drug store management preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical duties as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Organize and move merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Support payroll, scheduling, cash handling and loss prevention tasks.
• Supervise, train, and develop Store Associates while maintaining a safe environment.
