Job summary

Dollar Tree seeks an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will supervise associates, organize merchandise flow, and ensure compliance with policies while maintaining a safe, friendly shopping environment.

Responsibilities include payroll/scheduling, opening/closing duties, and upholding stockroom and floor standards in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Ability to read, interpret, and explain operational directives.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Provide exceptional customer service and address questions.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Support payroll, scheduling, and cash handling duties.
• Lead and develop store associates; maintain a positive, safe environment.
• Maintain store cleanliness and compliance with policies.
