Family Dollar is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support daily store operations, customer service, and team development. You will help supervise associates, coordinate merchandise, and maintain a safe, friendly store environment in Vista, CA.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drugstore preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Help organize and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process directives including payroll, scheduling and cash handling.
• Maintain store areas to company standards with well-stocked floors and organized stockroom.
• Protect and secure all store assets, including cash.
• Adhere to policies and procedures and ensure staff compliance.
• Help Store Manager supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
• Foster a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
