Family Dollar seeks an Assistant Store Manager to support daily store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with opening/closing, merchandise handling, and payroll tasks while ensuring safety and policy compliance.

The role requires strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills, with the ability to motivate team members in a fast-paced retail environment. This is a part-time on-site position in Mississippi.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent required; ability to read and interpret directives.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store preferred.
• Physical capability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform frequent walking and standing.

Mansioni

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Help organize and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Support payroll, scheduling, and cash handling tasks.
• Maintain clean, well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom.
• Protect and secure store assets, including cash.
• Help train and develop store teams.
• Ensure a safe, respectful environment for customers and staff.
• Adhere to company policies and safety guidelines.
