Family Dollar in the United States is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with daily activities, help customers, organize merchandise, and ensure store standards are maintained.

The role involves opening/closing procedures, processing directives, and training Store Associates. You will help create a safe, friendly environment while maintaining a well-stocked store and clean facilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Store management experience in retail or grocery is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.

Responsabilités

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Maintain promotional displays and store fixtures.
