Job summary

Goodwill of North Georgia is seeking a Retail Assistant Store Manager for the Canton Store. You will assist the Store Manager in hiring, training, motivating and supervising staff, lead meetings, and ensure customer and donor satisfaction.

You’ll maintain displays, manage merchandising, ensure cash handling per policy, and drive the store toward meeting or exceeding budgeted financial performance. Ongoing training is provided; opportunity for transfers to other stores may arise.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience supervising 15+ employees in food services, manufacturing, production or retail or completed Goodwill training
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills
• Experience with POS or sell systems and MS Office software

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in hiring, training, motivating and supervising staff
• Lead meetings and help store meet customer and donor satisfaction standards
• Maintain displays and merchandising presentations and manage cash per policy
• Aim to meet or exceed budgeted financial performance; training provided
• May transfer to other stores as career progresses
