Job summary

Goodwill of North Georgia is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help run a busy store. You will hire, train and motivate staff, lead meetings, and drive customer and donor satisfaction while maintaining displays and cash handling per policy.

The role offers ongoing training and potential opportunities to transfer to other locations as you progress. Candidates should have supervisory experience and strong interpersonal skills in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years supervising 15+ staff in food services, manufacturing, production or retail or 1 year supervision with Goodwill training completed
• Bachelor's degree plus 1 year supervisory experience in logistics, retail, warehouse, fast food, restaurants, B2B or service industry
• 4+ years of military service with supervisory experience may apply in lieu of other options

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in hiring, training, motivating and supervising staff
• Lead meetings and ensure customer and donor satisfaction standards
• Maintain displays, merchandising, and cash handling per policy
• Support ongoing staff development and potential transfers to other stores
