Job summary

ALDI USA is hiring a full-time Assistant Store Manager in Michigan. The role supports the direct leader with daily store operations, schedules, and developing action plans to improve store performance.

You will supervise a team, ensure product quality and signage, and contribute to payroll and loss prevention initiatives. The position requires at least 3 years in retail, strong customer service, and the ability to train and mentor staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of progressive experience in a retail environment.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists the direct leader with developing and implementing action plans to improve operating results.
• Establishes and communicates job responsibilities and performance expectations to their direct reports to ensure mutual understanding and desired results.
• Identifies training and development opportunities for direct reports to achieve enhanced performance.
• Monitors the competitive environment and informs leadership of adjustments to maintain competitive position.
• Ensures store payroll and total loss budget, inventory counts, and training of new employees.
