Job summary

ALDI in Roseville, MI is hiring a Full-Time Assistant Store Manager. This role supports the direct leader with store performance, scheduling, and training to develop the team.

You’ll help manage inventory, merchandising, and customer service while ensuring adherence to company policies and loss prevention measures. The position requires at least 3 years in retail with some supervisory experience, and offers starting wages of $25.00 per hour with a raise to $26.00 in the second year.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• A minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in a retail environment.
• Prior management experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist the direct leader in developing and implementing action plans to improve operating results.
• Communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to direct reports.
• Identify training and development opportunities for direct reports.
• Monitor competitive environment and adjust operations as needed to maintain competitiveness.
• Assist with inventory procedures, product handling, and cash control policies.
• Participate in interviewing store personnel and onboarding new employees.
• Ensure store cleanliness and proper signage at all times.
• Maintain stock levels and assist with product ordering to support sales.
