Job summary

Roses is seeking an Assistant Manager/Key Carrier at our Middlesboro location to deliver excellent customer service and support the Store Manager in daily operations. This role involves supervising hourly staff, ensuring store standards, and maintaining a safe, welcoming environment for customers.

The position requires flexibility, strong leadership, and the ability to manage opening/closing procedures when the Store Manager is unavailable.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and written skills are required.
• Prior retail experience and leadership experience are preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical duties.
• Flexible, full-time schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist with hiring, training, and development of store team members as directed by the Store Manager.
• Support store operations and day-to-day activities per Store Manager’s guidance.
• Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Protect and secure company assets, including cash, and adhere to safety policies.
• Maintain a professional, friendly environment for customers and staff.
• Keep stockroom and sales floor organized to company standards.
