Job summary

Roses Discount Stor is seeking an Assistant Manager/Key Carrier to deliver excellent customer service and support the Store Manager with daily store operations in Huntsville, AL. You will help hire, train and coach staff, manage opening/closing procedures, and ensure asset protection.

Responsibilities include stocking, recovery, and maintaining a safe, welcoming store environment while directing hourly team members when the Store Manager is away.

Qualifications

• Prior retail and management experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist with hiring, training and developing store staff.
• Support Store Manager in daily store operations.
• Perform opening and closing procedures when needed.
• Protect assets and cash handling.
• Maintain store cleanliness and product presentation.
• Direct hourly team members in the Store Manager's absence.
• Assist with freight flow and merchandise receiving.
