Job summary

Dollar Tree is hiring an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with day-to-day store activities, help customers, and ensure merchandise moves smoothly from delivery to sales floor.

This role requires strong communication, the ability to lift up to 55 lbs, and experience in retail store environments. You will train and supervise store associates while maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming shopping atmosphere.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred, ability to read and explain directives required.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical duties.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and written skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Help organize, and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays.
