Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service and team development. The role includes assisting with daily activities, merchandising, and staff supervision to ensure high standards of service and efficiency.

The candidate will help manage opening/closing processes, organize inventory, and maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming store environment while upholding company policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and written skills required.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day store operations and activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor; maintain seasonal areas.
• Open and close store procedures as needed.
• Follow corporate directives and maintain store standards and loss prevention.
