Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with daily store activities, help customers, organize merchandise, and ensure safety and cleanliness throughout the store.

The role requires strong communication and leadership skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining store standards. This is a full-time position based at a Dollar Tree location in Texas.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Ability to read, interpret, and explain operational directives.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Assist in organizing, stocking, and maintaining seasonal areas and merchandising.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Process corporate directives related to store activities.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, recording payroll and scheduling, and loss prevention.
• Keep store areas well-stocked and organized to company standards.
• Protect and secure all company assets, including cash.
• Adhere to safety policies and procedures and guide associates accordingly.
• Help Store Manager supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
• Maintain a positive, safe, respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Ensure cleanliness of the store including restrooms and floors.
• Carry out other duties as assigned.
