Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with daily store activities, help customers, and ensure merchandise is well organized and displayed.

The role includes processing directives, maintaining inventory and stockrooms, and supporting the Store Manager in training staff. This position is full-time, requiring reliability and teamwork in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environments preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs., frequent movement and standing.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor; maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and store communications.
