Job summary

Hibbett, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Manager for our Roswell, NM store. You will assist the Store Manager in daily operations, merchandising, and customer service, and may assume Store Manager responsibilities in their absence.

The role requires strong customer service, teamwork, and the ability to manage in a fast-paced retail environment. This position reports to the Store Manager and is non-exempt with hourly pay.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of customer service experience in retail.
• Experience in footwear/apparel retail preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to assist in managing a team and meet goals/profits.
• Self-starter with initiative and reliability.
• Team-player with passion for customer service and selling merchandise.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager in selling, restocking, merchandising, ordering and scheduling.
• Act as supervisor in the Store Manager's absence.
• Provide knowledge and guidance to employees and customers in all departments.
• Protect assets and ensure internal control procedures are followed.
• Deliver extraordinary customer service per the customer service manual.
• Promote and sell services and merchandise offered by the store.
