Hibbett I City Gear in West Helena, Arkansas (North Sebastian) is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the Store Manager and oversee daily store operations, including customer service, restocking and merchandising.

The role involves supervising staff in the Store Manager’s absence, assisting with hiring and training, scheduling, maintaining inventory awareness, and upholding policies and standards.

Qualifications

• Retail experience preferred.
• 1-3 years of customer service experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to assist in managing a team and keep up with goals and profits.
• Self-starter with initiative and attention to detail.
• Team-player who is passionate about customer service and selling merchandise.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager in controlling assets and operations.
• Consult with the Store Manager to establish action plans for selling, restocking, merchandising, ordering, and scheduling.
• Assume responsibility of the entire store in the Store Manager’s absence.
