Hibbett I City Gear in Mountain Home, Arkansas is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the Store Manager in day-to-day operations and administrative duties. The Assistant Manager will drive merchandising, scheduling, and inventory controls while upholding company policies and delivering exceptional service to customers at all times.

Qualifications

• Retail experience in footwear and athletic apparel preferred.
• 1-3 years of customer service experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in controlling assets of Hibbett I City Gear.
• Consult with Store Manager to establish action plans for selling, restocking, merchandising, ordering, and scheduling.
• Assume responsibility of the entire store in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Assist in personnel recruiting, training, and evaluation.
• Provide knowledge and guidance to employees and customers in all departments when necessary.
• Ensure inventory and expenses are monitored to maintain profitability in all departments.
• Direct staff to meet each department's responsibilities and standards.
• Promote and sell services and merchandise provided by Hibbett I City Gear.
• Uphold policies, procedures and standards as listed in manuals.
