Job summary

Old Navy, a Gap Inc. brand, seeks an Assistant Manager in Waldorf, MD to lead store operations, coach teams, and drive profitable sales. You will collaborate with the General Manager to execute store strategy, mentor leaders, and maintain a best-in-class customer experience.

You will empower Leads, Experts and Brand Associates, manage merchandising, and ensure compliance while promoting community involvement and omni-channel excellence.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of retail management experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Drive store sales and deliver results via a customer-centric approach to all store operations.
• Recruit, hire and develop Brand Associate and Expert teams to high performance.
• Own assigned area of responsibility and drive results.
• Implement action plans to maximize efficiencies and productivity.
• Perform Service Leader duties as needed.
• Ensure consistent execution of standard operating procedures.
• Represent the brand and understand the retail landscape and competition.
• Promote community involvement and local engagement.
• Leverage omni-channel to deliver a frictionless customer experience.
• Ensure all compliance standards are met.
