Job summary

Bath & Body Works in the United States seeks an Assistant Store Manager to partner with the Store Manager to develop outstanding associates and deliver exceptional customer experiences. The role focuses on leadership, coaching, and driving sales while maintaining brand standards across the store.

You will lead in-store operations, hire and coach teams, manage payroll targets and ensure engaging, personalized customer service.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering sales, customer experience, and operational results in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous manager role in retail preferred.
• Ability to coach and de-escalate customer situations.
• Availability for peak days, varied evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Attract, hire, develop, inspire, and retain top talent.
• Set and reinforce performance expectations and goals.
• Lead store operations as Manager on Duty as needed.
• Partner with Sales Leadership to drive results.
• Lead floorset direction and product storytelling.
• Meet payroll targets through appropriate staffing and selling focus.
• Deliver exceptional in-store customer experiences and product knowledge.
• Provide feedback to managers and training to associates.
