Job summary

Goodwill of North Georgia is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help the Store Manager hire, train, motivate and supervise staff. You’ll lead meetings, drive customer and donor satisfaction, and ensure displays and merchandising meet standards.

This role involves cash handling, budgeting guidance, and day-to-day operations, with ongoing training and potential opportunities to transfer to other stores as you progress your career.

Qualifications

• 2+ years supervision of 15+ staff in food services, manufacturing, production or retail; or 1 year with Goodwill training.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sales, Retail, Finance, Mathematics, Accounting, or Economics plus 1 year of supervisory experience in logistics, retail, warehouse, fast food, restaurants, B2B accounts, corporate/service industry or any other relevant industry.
• 4+ years of military service with one or more years of supervisory experience in lieu of either of the above

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager in hiring, training, motivating and supervising staff.
• Lead meetings, drive customer and donor satisfaction, and maintain displays and merchandising presentations.
• Oversee cash handling as per policy and help the store meet its budgeted financial performance.
• As you progress you may be offered opportunities to transfer to other stores.
