Job summary

Goodwill of North Georgia is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in running the store, including hiring, training, motivating and supervising staff. You will lead meetings, ensure customer and donor satisfaction, and maintain displays and merchandising while safeguarding cash and working toward budget targets.

In this role, you’ll receive ongoing training and may be offered opportunities to transfer to other stores as your career progresses.

Qualifications

• This role requires strong interpersonal and written communication abilities.
• Candidate should have supervision experience or a related degree with some supervisory exposure.
• Familiarity with POS/sell systems and standard software (MS Office) is expected.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in hiring, training, motivating and supervising staff.
• Lead meetings and help the store meet customer and donor satisfaction standards.
• Maintain displays and merchandising presentations and cash handling per policy.
• Help drive the store toward budgeted financial performance.
• Participate in ongoing training; potential future transfers to other stores.
