J.Crew Group (JCG) is seeking an Assistant Manager to join our leadership team at J.Crew Factory. You will drive profitability through genuine customer connections, brand loyalty, and strong community engagement while coaching the sales team to maximize performance.

You will collaborate with the Store Director and Associate Store Manager to adapt strategies, oversee store operations and recruit, train, and develop associates for a high-performing, customer-centric store environment.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of retail management experience with similar scope.
• Passionately support our brand, customers, and teams.
• Scheduling flexibility including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Support Store Director & Associate Store Manager to impact business results and profitability.
• Own division of responsibility (Visual Merchandising, Operations, HR, Service & Selling).
• Manage store operations, systems, and technology with accountability.
• Assist with recruiting, training and development as needed.
• Partner to create a collaborative working environment for all associates.
• Ensure the team stays on track to exceed goals and deliver best-in-class service.
• Lead product knowledge sessions to elevate authentic customer connections.
• Engage the community and build loyalty through events.
