J.Crew Factory is seeking an Assistant Manager to join our store leadership team in Alexandria, VA. You will help drive profitability through strong customer connections and brand loyalty, while coaching the sales team to achieve performance goals.

You’ll partner with the leadership team to adapt strategies for business success and ensure smooth operations as needed. You will oversee your area of responsibility, support recruiting and training, and foster a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of retail management experience.
• Passion for brand, customers and teams.
• Ability to bend, reach, and lift at least 40 pounds.
• Flexible scheduling including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Support Store Director & Associate Store Manager to drive profitability and brand loyalty.
• Own designated area (Visual Merchandising, Operations, HR, Service & Selling).
• Manage store operations, systems, and technology with accountability.
• Assist in recruiting, training, and development as needed.
• Collaborate to create a positive, collaborative workplace for all associates.
• Lead product knowledge sessions to boost customer connection and sales.
