Job summary

Dollar Tree in Spokane is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service and team development. You will assist with day-to-day store activities, help organize and stock merchandise, and ensure store standards are maintained while delivering a positive customer experience.

You will train and supervise store associates, help with opening and closing procedures, process directives, manage inventories and loss prevention, and maintain a safe, clean environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and frequent walking.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a high-energy team environment.
• Exceptional customer service and organizational skills.
• Strong problem solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner.
• Transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Maintain store fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise and processing damaged merchandise.
• Maintain a well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom.
• Protect store assets including cash.
• Ensure safety policies are followed.
• Support Store Manager in training and development.
• Maintain clean and presentable store environment.
• Other duties as assigned.
