Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with daily store functions, help customers, organize merchandise from delivery to floor, and uphold store standards.

The role emphasizes opening/closing duties, supervising staff, and maintaining a clean, safe environment while ensuring promotional displays are effective and assets are secured.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Store management experience in retail or grocery environment preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and answer questions.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Maintain promotional displays and store fixtures.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, process damaged goods, and assist with payroll/scheduling.
• Maintain clean, well-stocked store areas and secure assets.
