Job summary

Roses Express in Brewton, AL seeks an Assistant Manager/Key Carrier to provide excellent customer service and support the Store Manager in daily operations.

Responsibilities include training staff, managing opening/closing, safeguarding assets, stocking merchandise, and ensuring sales floor readiness; prior retail/management experience is preferred. This role offers a full-time schedule with potential for part-time shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• Prefer prior retail and management experience.
• Effective communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to lift, bend and transport merchandise weighing up to 50lbs; able to stand for long periods.
• Work in a high energy, team environment.
• Flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist with hiring, training and development of store team members as delegated by the Store Manager.
• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day store activities as directed by the Store Manager.
• Open and close procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Protect and secure company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to policies and safety guidelines.
• Maintain a professional, friendly environment with customers and staff.
• Maintain stockroom and sales floor to company standards including recovery.
• Direct supervisory responsibility for hourly Team Members when Store Manager is absent.
• Assist with receipt/return of DSD merchandise and freight management.
• Meet or exceed productivity standards and assist in stocking merchandise.
